Business Broadband Internet Plans
Check your NBN technology
Before choosing a plan, check what NBN technology is available at your address using the official NBN lookup tool: https://www.nbnco.com.au.
This will tell you whether you have FTTP, FTTN, FTTC or Fixed Wireless. All plans below are subject to availability at your address.
| Technology | Description | Suitable speeds |
|---|---|---|
| FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) | Fibre runs all the way into your building. Delivers the highest reliability and speeds. | Up to 2000/500 Mbps |
| FTTN (Fibre to the Node) | Fibre to a nearby street cabinet; existing copper for the last leg. Speed depends on line quality. | Up to 100/40 Mbps |
| FTTC (Fibre to the Curb) | Fibre is closer to your premises than FTTN; copper covers only a few metres. | Up to 100/40 Mbps |
| Fixed Wireless (FW) | Uses NBN’s wireless towers to connect regional & rural locations. | Up to 400/40 Mbps |
If no technology is available at your location, please reach out to us for potential “5G”, “Enterprise Ethernet”, “SkyMuster Satellite” and “Starlink” services.

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)

FTTP means a fibre optic cable runs directly inside your premises. Inside, you’ll find an NTD (Network Termination Device) — this is the box that connects your premises to the NBN network.
Your modem/router needs to be plugged into the UNI-D port (1) on this box using an ethernet cable to access the internet.
What the FTTP NTD looks like:
For Residential – A white or cream wall-mounted box, usually installed in the garage, master bedroom, a built-in wardrobe, or living room. If you’re in an apartment building and can’t locate it, check with building management — every unit should have its own NTD installed inside the property.
For Business – The same white or cream wall-mounted box, usually installed in your communications cabinet or designated area. Some buildings with multiple suites may have the device in a common communications cupboard or room.
Typical FTTP installation: outside plant connects to the nbn™ utility box, which links to the nbn™ connection box (NTD) inside your premises — your router then plugs into the UNI-D port on this box.

Fibre to the Node (FTTN)
Fibre to a nearby street cabinet; existing copper for the last leg. Speed depends on line quality.
Unlike FTTP and FTTC, nbn™ doesn’t supply any equipment for FTTN connections. The termination point to your premises will be an RJ12 socket (one of your existing telephone wall sockets), and your modem/router will need a DSL port (VDSL2-compatible) to connect to the internet.
| Plan | NBN Speed | Price before 1 July 2026 | Price from 1 July 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| TotalBiz 25/10 | 25/10 Mbps | $77 | $83 |
| TotalBiz 50/20 | 50/20 Mbps | $90 | $94 |
| TotalBiz 100/20 | 100/20 Mbps | $100 | $100 |
| TotalBiz 100/40 | 100/40 Mbps | $105 | $107 |
†Fibre‑to‑the‑node plans are subject to the quality and length of the copper line; speeds above 100 Mbps are not available.

Fibre to the Curb (FTTC)

FTTC connections bring fibre to a small pit near your property, and the final link to your premises uses copper cabling. This setup includes an NCD (Network Connection Device) inside your premises.
The FTTC NCD is also location-coded, which means it must stay at the premises it was assigned to. Bringing one from another location will not work.
You’ll need to plug the NCD into a phone wall socket and connect your modem/router to it using an ethernet cable.
| Plan | NBN Speed | Price before 1 July 2026 | Price from 1 July 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| TotalBiz 50/20 | 50/20 Mbps | $90 | $94 |
| TotalBiz 100/20 | 100/20 Mbps | $100 | $100 |
| TotalBiz 100/40 | 100/40 Mbps | $105 | $107 |

Fixed Wireless (FW)

Uses NBN’s wireless towers to connect regional & rural locations.
An antenna will be installed on the roof of your premises and linked to a Fixed Wireless Network Termination Device (NTD) inside your premises. This NTD has four Ethernet ports on its underside, labelled UNI-D1 through UNI-D4 — your assigned port (most commonly UNI-D1) connects to your router’s WAN port using an ethernet cable.
Because Fixed Wireless relies on a radio signal between your premises and the nearest nbn™ wireless tower, actual speeds can vary depending on your distance from the tower, whether there’s a clear line of sight, local weather conditions, and how many other users are connected to the same tower during busy periods. As with FTTP and FTTC connections, a technician appointment will be scheduled to install the rooftop antenna and NTD as part of activating your service.-D4 — your assigned port (most commonly UNI-D1) connects to your router’s WAN port using an ethernet cable.
